For over 30 years MNDAKSPAN has served to promote the education and professional growth of nurses from North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota practicing in perianesthesia areas such as ambulatory surgery, preanesthesia and postanesthesia care.

Since 1980 ASPAN has served as the parent organization for MNDAKSPAN. Representing the interests of more than 55,000 nurses practicing in all phases of preanesthesia and postanesthesia care, ASPAN is the leading association for perianesthesia education, nursing practice, standards and research.
